Not 4 Dating for couples?

So, more friends moved away - a couple this time. So sad. In reality if you can find a compatible couple to be friends with as a couple it is is the ideal situation...no one is left out for guys night or girls night. Female can be friends with male and male with female without causing relationship issues. Everyone gets along...no awkward conversation because you can always talk about "oh - do you guys do your laundry together or separate" and other stuff that makes you feel better (about doing laundry separate after 7 years together) or lends insight to your own relationship. Somehow 4 people having dinner together decreases the awkwardness over two when hanging out for the first time. But, now that they've moved away, we are searching for a new couple to be friends with. The issue is I'm talking strictly friends here - no funny stuff. But, how do you find couples to be friends with that 1) are compatible with both people in the relationship and 2) don't think you are after something more freaky as a couple or individuals? Can you do that online? We're hoping so. We've been thinking about adding an option to search for couples instead of individuals, what do you think? Are there people out there like me that are also looking for platonic couple friends? Would you use a website to do it?
